While Chelsea are running away with the Premier League trophy, the top four places (and the Champions League spots that go with them) are still there for the taking. Hence, with just nine football games remaining, the league’s Big Six are all but focused on getting their hands on it.
Only nine points or less separate the second to sixth placers, and betting odds point to a heated race starting this Week 30.
Liverpool vs Everton (April 1, 19:30 GMT+8)
Currently at fourth and only one point below the third-placed Manchester City, Liverpool will be determined to secure a win here and pull further away from the fifth place.
The Merseyside derby with Everton, of course, won’t be easy with Romelu Lukaku on target for both club and country this March. However, the absence of Irish right-back Seamus Coleman—who suffered a horrific double leg injury—should greatly affect the Toffees’ defence.
Liverpool don’t lack the attacking quality as well, and the possible return of skipper Jordan Henderson should put them in even higher spirits. With that said, a 🌟🌟 punt for me is a one-sided victory for the Reds on Asian Handicap -0.75 @ 1.87.
Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur (April 1, 22:00 GMT+8)
Harry Kane’s injury might sound bad for most Spurs fans, especially that they were pretty inconsistent when the star striker was out for two months earlier in the campaign. Nonetheless, as what we have seen in their last two matches, Mauricio Pochettino has a plethora of talent at his disposal.
They already have a pair of wins since Kane’s injury, and they should be able to string one more against a Burnley squad who remain winless for almost two months now after failing to get all three points against bottom club Sunderland before the break.
The difference here is just massive and I expect it to show right from the kickoff, so another 🌟🌟 bet goes to Tottenham on First Half 1X2 @ 2.22 and Asian Handicap -0.75 @ 1.87.
Arsenal vs Manchester City (April 2, 23:00 GMT+8)
This one is the biggest matchup of the weekend for me as a home win will push Arsenal closer to the top four while an away victory will place City in tighter contention for second.
City are slightly favoured to bag the points, but it’s not looking good for them with Kevin De Bruyne doubtful for the match with a groin injury. Thus, this should be favourable for the Gunners as they are expected to have Mesut Ozil back in the Starting XI with the German looking fit now after struggling with injuries and illness for the past seven weeks.
Home advantage will also play a role for the Gunners, though I think Pep Guardiola can still steer his side to contention with the players he has considering that recent meetings between them have always ended up close.
If you’re punting, Arsenal Draw No Bet @ 2.23 for a 🌟 bet seems like the best choice.
