Well, I guess Barcelona would have something to say about that, but when you look at the Champions League football games on offer this week, we’re not far off!
The two favourites, Manchester City and PSG are in action, along with last year’s finalists Real Madrid and Juventus. Add in the attacking thrills we can expect when Liverpool and Spurs take the field and we have four great clashes to watch.
So let’s take a look in order and try to pick the winners with Asian Handicap Betting…
Juventus vs Tottenham Hotspur (February 14, 03:45 GMT+8)
Spurs arrive in Turin on the back of a 1-0 win in the North London derby, and that puts them in the perfect mood. But even Harry Kane will struggle to score against a Juventus side in frightening form. Max Allegri’s team has won its last 11 in all competitions, scoring 25 and conceding one, while Spurs have drawn the last three away from home.
Juve to make it 12 in a row is available at 1×2 @ 1.96, and that’s my first 🌟🌟 bet.
FC Basel vs Manchester City (February 14, 03:45 GMT+8)
Manchester City are running away with the Premier League and warmed up for this tie by hammering Leicester 5-1.
Basel, meanwhile, are fighting it out in a two-horse race for the Swiss League and have already done themselves proud to get this far in Europe. But with three defeats in the last six, they have a major job on to stop City.
For a 🌟🌟 bet, I’m backing City to win with a -1.50 handicap at odds of 2.09.
Real Madrid vs Paris Saint-Germain (February 15, 03:45 GMT+8)
Cristiano Ronaldo’s ready for this one. The competition’s current top scorer has struggled, relatively, in the league but scored a hat-trick at the weekend in Real’s 5-2 win over Sociedad. PSG have won the last six in all competitions and, as second favourites, are ready to take on all comers in Europe.
This is a humdinger! So I’m placing a 🌟 bet on a draw at odds of 3.35.
FC Porto vs Liverpool (February 15, 03:45 GMT+8)
The final clash of the week is a real teaser. Liverpool are an exciting side—packed with attacking talent, spearheaded by the brilliant Mo Salah—but they are not impregnable and, before the weekend games, have won just one in four. Porto are in fine form, winning six home games on the run, but none against a threat like the Reds.
If you think Porto can keep Liverpool at bay, then how about backing them on Draw no Bet at 2.26 for a 🌟🌟 punt?
