It’s hard to imagine the fan favourite of both clubs will not feature at some point.
And after a pretty low-key pre-season, will Zinedine Zidane now insist on his champions raising their game?
The answer is undoubtedly yes.
The Spanish champions head to the Philip II Arena immediately ahead of a two-legged Spanish Cup Final against old foes Barcelona – all this before a ball is kicked in their domestic campaign.
That’s what being the top team in world football means – you can actually win silverware straight away the following season!
