The Old Lady handed Napoli their first defeat of the Serie A season to turn the betting odds in their favour and blow the title race wide open.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan took advantage of Napoli’s slip-up to claim the top spot with a resounding 5-0 victory over mid-table Chievo. Ivan Perisic grabbed a hat-trick to pace Inter, who remain unbeaten in the top flight.
Roma and Lazio, on the other hand, stay in the top five after getting all three points in their respective fixtures. Roma thrashed SPAL 3-1 in the opener, while Lazio came back from a goal down to beat Sampdoria 2-1.
Elsewhere, Fiorentina blow by Sassuolo with three unanswered goals, while Benevento got their first point of the season with a 2-2 stalemate against AC Milan. Torino and Atalanta, as well as Bologna and Cagliari, also shared the spoils with a 1-1 scoreline.
