Nothing’s Better than a Crazy Day in the NBA!

There are only six games in today’s NBA, but it featured everything: close games, blowouts, upsets and even a buzzer-beater!

It’s undoubtedly a crazy day for the league’s sports betting fans, and one that the online gambling community will remember for some time.

Portland Trail Blazers 96-97 Boston Celtics

Celtics’ Mr. Do Everything Al Horford turned the betting odds upside down with a buzzer-beater against the Blazers.

Boston trailed by as much as 16 points in the game, but a second-half rally saw them set up a frantic finish at the TD Garden. Horford then stepped up for the Celts, banking a step-back turnaround jumper at the death of time.

Milwaukee Bucks 109-94 Brooklyn Nets

The Bucks jumped into a 14-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they took down the Nets at Barclays Center. Eric Bledsoe finished with 28 points while John Henson had a double-double of 19 points and 18 boards for Milwaukee.

Injuries to Matthew Dellavedova and Giannis Antetokounmpo, however, put a damper on the win.

Atlanta Hawks 99-96 New York Knicks

Even Kristaps Porzingis’ 22-point-eight-rebound effort was not enough to lift the Knicks past the lowly Hawks. Kent Bazemore bagged 19 points and led the charge for Atlanta, who dominated from beyond the arc and finished with 15 threes on 45.5 percent shooting.

In comparison, New York made just five of their 23 three-point attempts.

Memphis Grizzlies 86-101 Toronto Raptors

This one wasn’t much of a fight as Memphis showed how much they lack offensively. No Raptors player reached the 20-point mark, but they still blew out a Grizzlies team that only scored 12 points in the final 12 minutes of play!

To be fair though, six players—led by Delon Wright—scored in double-figures for Toronto.

Los Angeles Lakers 108-104 Oklahoma City Thunder

All Lakers starters finished with double-digit scores as they handed the Thunder their fourth straight loss. Russell Westbrook did his best with 36 points, nine assists and five rebounds, but they just weren’t able to stop the Purple and Gold who also received an offensive boost from their bench led by Jordan Clarkson.

Charlotte Hornets 115-110 Phoenix Suns

Phoenix had a bright start and even led by 21 points at one point; however, they failed to build on the momentum and cooled down as the Hornets staged a big fourth-quarter fightback.

Nicolas Batum, Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard led Charlotte to victory, though it was the team’s defence that gave them the win after holding the Suns to just 16 points in the final frame.
