The Cavaliers recorded 15 consecutive wins to start the 2024-25 NBA campaign. However, Cleveland’s unbeaten run ended at the hands of Boston recently.
Since then, the East-leading Cavaliers recorded back-to-back double-digit wins against the Pelicans and Raptors, and they’re keen on extending their current unbeaten run to three straight games when they host the Hawks tomorrow at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The Thunder also plan to strengthen their grip on the West’s top berth when they visit the Warriors, the second seed of the conference.
Elsewhere, the Hornets, Pacers, Magic, Sixers, Wizards, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Spurs, Suns, and Jazz will host the Heat, Blazers, Bulls, Rockets, Clippers, Knicks, Pistons, Kings, Raptors, Lakers, Nets, and Nuggets, respectively.

Atlanta Hawks @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Despite losing to the Celtics, the Cavaliers’ NBA 2024 odds remain intact after notching 10 consecutive home wins, and they’re up against the Hawks, who are on a three-game losing skid.
After a pedestrian 10-point outing against the Pelicans, Donovan Mitchell did better against the Raptors on Sunday, notching a team-high 26 points, four rebounds, and five three-pointers on 10-for-18 shooting from the field.
Cleveland also received a big boost from Ty Jerome, who dropped 26 points, three rebounds, six assists, four steals, and four three-pointers off the bench.
Atlanta recently suffered consecutive losses against the Warriors, Bulls, and Mavericks. Overall, they’ve lost four of their last five.
The Hawks might miss Trae Young due to an Achilles injury. Atlanta, by the way, received a hefty $100,000 fine for holding out the three-time NBA All-Star against the Celtics two weeks ago.
If Young ultimately sits this one out, there’ll be more touches available for Bogdan Bogdanovic, Zaccharie Risacher, Dyson Daniels, Jalen Johnson, Vit Krejci, and Kobe Bufkin.
New York Knicks @ Dallas Mavericks
The Knicks have now won five of their last six, as they’re fresh from a 145-118 blowout of the Nuggets on Monday.
OG Anunoby had a team-high 40 points, five rebounds, four assists, and five three-pointers while shooting 16-for-23 from the field. Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson had 30 and 23 points, and Mikal Bridges (14), Miles McBride (13), Josh Hart (12), and Cameron Payne (11) also notched double-digit points.

The Mavericks scored a 129-119 victory over the Hawks on Monday for their fifth win in their last six.
Kyrie Irving carried the Mavs, who were without Klay Thompson (foot) and Luka Doncic (wrist). The one-time NBA champion scored 32 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and six three-pointers.
With Doncic still sidelined for a few more days, Irving’s usage rate should stay high. Jaden Hardy, Naji Marshall, and Spencer Dinwiddie will get more touches too.
Detroit Pistons @ Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies are back in the Top 5 mix following a three-game winning streak, while the Pistons are in the play-in tournament mix as the 10th seed.
Memphis recently blew out Portland 123-98, as Ja Morant (hip) notched a 22-point, 11-assist double-double in his return from an eight-game absence.
Jaren Jackson Jr. (21), Santi Aldama (13), Jay Huff (12), Luke Kennard (11), and Brandon Clarke (11) also scored double-digit points for the Grizzlies.
However, Ja Morant won’t suit up against the Pistons tomorrow due to a left knee contusion, and his next chance to play will come Friday against the Pelicans.
The Pistons snapped their three-game losing streak with a nail-biting 102-100 win over the Raptors on Monday.
Jaden Ivey hit the buzzer-beating floater to sink the Raptors. Ivey had 25 points, five rebounds, and eight assists on 10-for-13 shooting, and he’ll continue to shoulder the heavy load since Cade Cunningham is sidelined by a hip injury.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors
The Thunder are on a two-game winning streak, while the Warriors are on a two-game losing streak. Despite their recent NBA 2024 results, these two teams aren’t far off from each other in the standings.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 37 points, four rebounds, and 11 assists on 13-for-20 shooting from the field in Oklahoma City’s 130-109 rout of Sacramento. The two-time NBA All-Star has scored at least 30 points in three of his last four appearances.
Stephen Curry tallied 28 points, four rebounds, and seven assists in Golden State’s 128-120 loss against Brooklyn. However, he is dealing with lingering soreness in his two knees and could miss tomorrow’s game.
