This is now an all-out battle!

Three East teams. Two playoff spots.

The live betting thrill isn’t over yet in the NBA regular season as Indiana, Chicago and Miami remain in contention for the last postseason berths in their conference. And they left betting odds and betting tips in much more frenzy after getting the W in their respective games today.

Sure enough, with this, the East playoff seedings will be decided on the final games come Thursday!

Indiana Pacers 120-111 Philadelphia 76ers

The Pacers are still not secured a playoff berth, though they are very well on their way after Paul George led them to their fourth straight victory. The results were clear already after the first quarter with Philadelphia trailing Indiana by 15 and showing no signs of resistance at all.

Brooklyn Nets 105-114 Boston Celtics

Brooklyn played well particularly in the second half, but a 13-28 first quarter proved to be too much to overcome against a strong Celtics squad. It was still a thrilling game though as it turned out to be a battle of the guards with Jeremy Lin (28 points, 12 rebounds) going toe to toe with Isaiah Thomas (27 points).

Cleveland Cavaliers 121-124 Miami Heat

Playing without LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson, Cleveland seemed to have handed this game to Miami. However, it wasn’t without competition at all as the Heat needed overtime with Deron Williams pacing the Cavs with 35 points and nine dimes.

Hassan Whiteside scored 23 and grabbed 18 rebounds while Tyler Johnson also impressed for Miami as he finished with 24 points, including their last four in the extra period.

Washington Wizards 105-101 Detroit Pistons

It was Detroit’s last home game at the Palace, but their stars failed to show up to give the arena a fitting farewell. The Wizards’ starters outscored the Piston’s first five by 27 points and even dominated the boards 48-36, as they held on to their lead despite a late fightback from Stan Van Gundy’s men.

Orlando Magic 75-122 Chicago Bulls

A 47-point blowout of the Magic put the Bulls firmly in control of the final playoff spot in the East. Jimmy Butler, Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant led the offence to spark Chicago’s rout of Orlando who, once again, didn’t get much production from their reserves despite being handed solid minutes.

Charlotte Hornets 79-89 Milwaukee Bucks

The Hornets are still without a win in four after a fourth-quarter collapse that saw them trail by as much as 15 points despite leading up until the third quarter. The Bucks’ bench unit did much of the damage in the final 12 minutes, with Greg Monroe scoring 11 of his 16 in the fourth. Giannis Antetokounmpo was also sensational for Milwaukee with his triple-double.

San Antonio Spurs 98-99 Portland Trail Blazers

Portland showed that they are ready for the playoffs as they took down the Spurs even without Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. Noah Vonleh delivered the killing blow with a layup at the buzzer right after Jake Layman put them within one. Shabazz Napier, meanwhile, led the Blazers’ balanced offence with an all-around display of 32 points to go with six rebounds and five assists.

San Antonio and Coach Pop, on the other hand, will have some reason for the loss after giving limited minutes to their stars. Not that they need one though.

Houston Rockets 96-125 LA Clippers

It was a close game until the second quarter, but the Clippers clobbered the Rockets with a 36-12 third quarter rally that denied the visitors any chance of a comeback. James Harden didn’t play in the fourth as Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan combined for 51 in a well-organized Clips attack.

Utah Jazz 105-99 Golden State Warriors

Utah snapped Golden State’s 14-game winning run, thanks in large part to George Hill and Rudy Gobert who carried much of the load in the absence of Gordon Hayward. Joe Johnson also came up big, scoring 13 of his 19 in the fourth quarter to help the Jazz pull away from a Warriors team missing Klay Thompson’s three-point efficiency.
